avVenta Employees Are All About Giving Back To The People In Need

NEW YORK, NY – December 16, 2011 – As we approach the end of the year avVenta employees wanted to show their commitment to help fellow Costa Ricans in need by rallying together. avVenta employees collectively have chosen two charities they wanted to support during this holiday season. Employees have raised funds, collected gifts and dedicated their time towards giving back to the following charities:

Ministerio Amor en las Calles located in San Jose, Costa Rica, was founded in 1993 and is dedicated to providing street children shelter, education, summer camps and Christmas celebrations during the holiday season. avVenta employees collected over 250 gifts this year. These gifts, along with thousands collected nationwide in Costa Rica will be distributed to orphaned children and children who live in areas of social risk with low economic standards.

Telethon 2011 is a nationwide fundraising organization that is dedicated to helping the National Children's Hospital. This year Telethon 2011 has chosen to raise funds for the Neonatal Care Intensive Care Unit. avVenta donated $3,000, which was raised 100% by employees. These funds will go directly to two of the Children's Hospital towards the purchase of new state-of-the-art equipment and to treat newborn children.

During the December 3rd Telethon National Broadcast Event, Fabricio Soto, Vice President of Business Operations presented the company's donation and was quoted saying “avVenta is proud to be a solid contributor for the last three years in supporting the Costa Rican children. This is a direct example of our employee's commitment in helping our society and we couldn't be happier”.
