Charleston, SC (May 21, 2008) – avVenta Worldwide, a global leader in digital production and interactive services, announces the formation of a technology training partnership with affiliated government agencies in Costa Rica. Focused on the latest digital production technologies, and aimed at training and on-boarding new employees, this program will be incorporated into avVenta University, avVenta ’s in-house employee development program.

Together, avVenta training specialists and representatives of the Costa Rica Educational Department will hold and administer all courses in Flash Design and other emerging technologies in one of the three avVenta, San Jose facilities. The opportunity to train and work with avVenta will be offered to recent graduates of Costa Rica’s Professional Technical High Schools, and is a component to the larger initiative undertaken by Costa Rica to meet the private sector’s growing need for employees trained in 21st Century digital production.

" avVenta University will facilitate the continual expansion of our client base with the commitment to train one of the most educated, highly-literate workforces in all of Latin America in all areas of digital production and interactive capabilities," said Jay Noce, Founder, Chairman and CEO of avVenta. "We will continue to invest in Costa Rica and avVenta University to ensure we stay ahead of the curve in terms of both technology and skilled human capital, always providing the very best in digital production for our agency and corporate partners around the world."

The alliance has already proven to be tremendously successful, with an estimated 70 percent of the pilot program’s first graduating class having secured employment with avVenta.  Ultimately, avVenta hopes to implement this program on an even larger scale, potentially training up to 500 designers specializing in Flash and other digital production applications by the end of the year, and up to 1000 by the end of 2009.

avVenta Worldwide recently announced the opening of a newly-designed, high-tech facility in San Jose, Costa Rica, spanning over 45,000 square feet and able to accommodate 1200 employees.
